Sibos comes to the Americas this year, and Complidata will be there. From 28 September to 1 October the trade and transaction banking world gathers at the Miami Beach Convention Center, and we will be on the floor for all four days.
This year's theme is "digital finance for AI-driven economies." Every bank at the event is asking or being asked the same question: what are you actually doing with AI? For trade finance operations, we think the most useful answer is not efficiency. It is growth.
Our theme for this year: Scaling your trade finance book with AI-driven expertise
A bank's trade finance business grows only as fast as it can hire and train the experts to run it. You cannot take on more corporate clients, move more volume, or open new corridors faster than experienced examiners can be brought up to speed. With a wave of retirements ahead and a thinner talent pool behind it, that is a real ceiling on the trade finance book.
That ceiling is exactly what AI can now lift. TradeSpeed by Complidata reads each presentation and examines it under UCP 600 and ISBP, flagging discrepancies against the credit with the rule each one stands on. Every flag carries its logic trail, so the examiner can confirm, escalate, or override with full context. The system cites and surfaces while the examiner decides.
The result is more trade per examiner with examination cycles that run in minutes rather than days, field-level extraction accuracy of over 97%, and processing up to 10 times faster than manual review. A bank can grow capacity without growing headcount and the judgement that took decades to build is carried into every check rather than lost when a senior examiner retires.
Introducing our corporate pre-check solution
At the booth we will also show our newly launched corporate pre-check solution.
According to ICC reports, more than 65% of documents are refused on first presentation. This is the gap the corporate pre-check solution closes. It gives your clients the same examination approach and expertise your team applies for checking, before they submit, so discrepancies are caught while there is still time to fix them.
Ask us how you can offer it to your clients.
Who you'll meet
Three of us will be in Miami:
Ben Arber, Chief Executive Officer. 25+ years at HSBC across financial crime compliance and global trade and receivables finance, and co-chair of the ITFA financial crime initiative.
David Cooperman, Head of Americas Business Development and Global Head of Partnerships. 25+ years in transaction banking and trade finance, including senior roles at Citibank and ABN AMRO and leading the trade finance practice at EY North America.
Matthias Verbeke, co-founder and Head of Presales. More than a decade building transaction monitoring and screening systems inside financial institutions before co-founding Complidata.
Where to find us in Miami
You will find us in the Discover area at booth DISS41, a short walk from the Innotribe stage.
Come and see TradeSpeed examine real documentary trade, and dig into what AI in trade operations looks like at the desk rather than on the keynote stage.
The best way in is to book ahead. Pick a time that works and we will have the right person from the team ready for the conversation that matters to you.
